Horse Trail Ride

Enjoy a 1-1/2 hour guided horse back ride through the Alaskan wilderness on mountainous trails that will thrill the novice rider as well as the experienced.

Let our knowledgeable wranglers guide you on seasoned trail horses to witness majestic Mt. McKinley and the surrounding peaks and glaciers of the Alaska Range. Ride with us into the serenity of the forest and enjoy all that nature has to offer.

We furnish riders with outback coats. Riding helmets are available for our younger riders. We encourage all ages and levels of riding experience to join us on a trail ride that will most certainly be the highlight of your trip to Alaska. Custom (3,4 and 8 hour) trips are also available.

Transportation for guests of Mt. McKinley Princess Lodge and the Talkeetna Alaska Lodge will be provided to and from our location. Please check ride schedule and price with the representatives on board the Midnight Sun Express, at the Mt. McKinley Princess Tour Desk or at the Talkeetna Alaska Lodge.

Overnight back country Horse Pack Trips are available June through September. Camps are located on Alaskan mountains with breathtaking views. These excursions include hearty meals, tents, competent horse wranglers and guides, campfire talk, storytelling and lots of exploring!
