For those who enjoy being outdoors, the backpacking, hunting, and fishing near Talkeetna are world class. Hiking trails offer a look at remote Alaska close to town. There are a number of gift shops and galleries on Main Street. Try your luck at recreational gold panning and take home your treasures and see our reindeer. Our Talkeetna location on the left at the end of Main Street will be offering horseback trail rides with spectacular views of Mt. McKinley and will provide an informational houseback tour of the historical town of Talkeetna. Camp opens May first and ends the middle of September. Operating daily, 10am until 9pm.
